Check-in is 3:00pm for Lodge rooms and and 4:30pm for cabins. Check-out is at 12:00 noon for the Lodge at 10:00am for the cabins.

Is Salt Fork State Park and Salt Fork Lodge open year-round?
Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center is open year-round, including cabin rentals. The golf course clubhouse is closed from January through mid-March; however, golfers interested in walking the course can play unlimited for $10.00 per day, per golfer. A self-registration station is located near the clubhouse.

What kind of weather can I expect?
Winter days are chilly, with temperatures ranging from 15–30°F. Evenings are much colder, staying in the single digits and teens, but rarely dropping below 0°F.
The early spring months are similar to winter with the same likelihood of storms. The late spring temperatures rise to the 70s during the day and evening temperatures drop to approximately 30–45°F. We recommend that you pack warmly for both seasons, although lighter wear will suffice for late spring.
The summer months bring long hot days averaging 85°F, which is ideal weather to experience the many activities at Salt Fork. Enjoy a summer evening stroll through the park, with night temperatures in 60s.
Fall brings a burst of brilliant color and the early months are comfortably crisp, with the daytime temperatures ranging from 60–70°F and evenings in the 50s.
Is there cell phone service?
Cell phone service is available for most providers; however, we can’t guarantee the signal strength.
Is there a business center?
Besides offering over 6,000 square feet of meeting space, we also provide high-speed Internet and e-mail access with package shipping, copy and facsimile services.
Can Salt Fork accommodate large groups?
Group gatherings of any kind are a natural choice for Salt Fork Conference Center. The beauty of Salt Fork and the ample space that can accommodate small meetings to full-scale conferences makes it perfect for any unique group experience. Our staff is experienced and available to assist you in planning an extraordinary day.
Is there a fee to enter the park?
There is no entrance fee at Salt Fork State Park.
How far in advance can I make lodging reservations?
We offer reservations up to 12 months in advance of arrival.
Do you have a waitlist for room reservations?
We do not offer a waitlist for reservations.
Since you don’t have a waitlist, should I check back every day for a cancellation?
Cancellations do occur; however, they can occur at random and you may have limited success in obtaining the dates and accommodations desired. If your first choice is not available, rather than scheduling your vacation around the possibility of a cancellation, we suggest checking alternate dates instead. If you want to continue to check for cancellations, you may do so by visiting our online reservations system.
Why can’t I find my reservation through the website reservation system?
Currently our online reservation system will only allow modifications or cancellations to reservations initially booked on our website.
Can I cook in my room?
Cooking is not allowed in our guestrooms; however, we do allow cooking in our cabins, which come with fully-equipped kitchens.
Do you offer wireless Internet access?
We do offer high-speed wireless Internet.
Can I have a pet in my room?
Salt Fork Lodge has limited number of cabins that are designated “pet friendly.” If you plan on bringing your pet, please advise when making your reservation. Pets are not permitted in any lodge rooms or cabins not designated as “pet friendly.” Due to the additional cleaning required in removing all possible pet-related allergens, a $150.00 housekeeping charge will be added to any room or cabin housing a pet not designated as pet-friendly. Additionally, the pet will need to be immediately relocated to a boarding kennel. All assistance dogs for visually or hearing impaired or orthopedically challenged individuals are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991.
